David Morris

David joined MacIntyre Hudson in February 2001 as Director of Education Services, from the Further Education Funding Council, where he had worked as an audit manager with responsibility for FE Colleges in Greater London and the South East. David was actively involved in formulating audit strategy at the FEFC, and responsible for its delivery.

From his role as link with regulators and major providers to the sector, David brings a perspective of best practice, and the service from a user and regulator perspective. Prior to joining the FEFC, David was a Senior Consultant with a major consultancy and Audit Manager with one of the largest accountancy firms.

David also has experience in fraud investigations and is a qualified Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS). As well as ensuring that investigations are carried out in compliance with statutory regulations, this service can also provide a fraud healthcheck.
