Five things you should stop doing in 2012: Tip 1 - Stop making plans and start making decisions.

It’s only three weeks in to the New Year and how many of you have already slipped in to working as you did in 2011?

I understand it is all too easy to hit the ground running and start ticking off the urgent things on your action list. But it’s not too late to make a few more resolutions for 2012.

I would like to see more owner managers working on their business, rather than in it. And how do you do that? Well, for those of you who did take the time over the seasonal break to reflect on the year ahead, now is the time to stop procrastinating over your plans and start implementing them.

Sometimes not making a decision at all is worse than making the wrong decision.

Happy New Year!
