James Gare
After graduating from King’s College London, James acted as a volunteer for Action against Hunger, and then later worked temporarily for the Charities Advisory Trust.
James has been working as a “Not For Profit” accountant since 1999 when he began his training in the sector with Gotham Erskine. He completed his training with Ernst & Young where he was involved in the audit of large charities.
Outside of work, James is currently the Treasurer of Headway North London, an affiliated group of the national charity Headway – the Brain Injury Association, which amongst other services, provides a helpline and free group counselling and campaigns for the awareness of brain injury.
James joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in July 2011 following the merger with Gotham Erskine LLP.
