John Ball
John qualified as a chartered accountant in 1976. He then worked as a finance officer for a community centre, followed by the role of finance director for an international trading company where he gained valuable managerial experience. He joined Gotham & Co as a partner in 1991 and he has been involved in a wide range of community and political initiatives and campaigns, ranging from working with political journals to sitting for the last ten years on the Finance Committee of a medium sized registered social landlord.
He has a wide variety of clients but particularly specialises in the area of housing where his clients include housing co-operatives and local authority tenant management organisations. His non-housing clients include nurseries, community centres and other charities, such as the Institute for Voluntary Action Research; and campaigning organisations such as Kick it Out and Progressive London.
John joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in July 2011 following the merger with Gotham Erskine LLP.
