Stuart Eccles

Stuart is a director specialising in VAT.  He joined Maclntyre Hudson in October 2011 having previously worked for Big 4/Top 20 accountancy firms for the prior 13 years. Stuart has considerable experience of assisting a wide range of clients ranging from large corporate, owner managed businesses and individuals.

Stuart advises on the VAT implications arising from all areas of VAT to benefit clients by ensuring that VAT saving opportunities are maximised as well as managing risks and exposure to penalties.

Stuart’s interests outside of work focus mainly around football (he is proud to own a small number of shares in his hometown club, Tranmere Rovers), walking in the countryside near his home in Kent, ‘attempting’ to grow enough vegetables to be self-sufficient and spending quality time with his daughter, who was born in January 2011.
