There is a growing interest in the UK tea industry, and Yogan A. Patel (Partner and Manufacturing sector expert) is working closely with the Department of International Trade (DIT), to help bring in foreign manufacturers looking to invest and break into the UK Tea industry.

Yogan was recently part of a conference that included tea industry experts, representatives from the DIT and heads of major manufacturing organisations from India. Discussions were centred on the current state of the UK tea industry, current and future trends, and the best ways investors and manufacturers could potentially come into the market.

Tea manufacturers in India seem to be enjoying great success and are now looking to expand their horizons and move into other markets, and since the UK are major consumers, they are quite keen to introduce their brands its market.
