Mike joined MacIntyre Hudson in 1984 to specialise in tax and became a partner in 1989.

He specialises in reorganisations, reconstructions and demergers for both UK and international groups.  Mike also advises on share schemes, remuneration planning and in respect of company sales, acquisitions, management buy-outs and management buy-ins.

Working with international groups he has assisted on cross-border tax planning issues including transfer pricing, international business structures and international secondment planning.

Mike’s many property clients gave him experience in advising on various property owning structures.

He is a trustee of a number of private trusts and a substantial national charity.  Mike has presented seminars on a range of taxation subjects and has lectured on behalf of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Mike’s hobbies include travel, his 32 acres of ‘farmland’, motor cars, golf and of course five time European Champions — Liverpool FC.
