MacIntyre Hudson on the BBC
Bob Trunchion, tax partner and a director of MacIntyre Advisory Services, the firm’s professional training provider, appeared on the BBC 2 programme “Working Lunch” last Friday.
He was answering questions submitted Viewers on the complicated issue of inheritance tax - and by all accounts he did the firm proud!
It was MacIntyre Hudson’s first appearance on television, and according to the producer, Bob’s succinct and informative comments were well received. So much so, that further opportunities are likely to be forthcoming.
The chance to take part was the result of some networking by Northampton team member Nick Condon in the weeks following the launch of the firm’s new image. “Working Lunch” aims to give the SME business sector access to a wide range of experts, and is expanding its base of professionals to include more regional firms.
Bob, a well-known face on the professional lecture circuit, is often featured in College of Law training videos, so facing the television cameras was not quite so daunting. “Working Lunch was a very different opportunity, to speak to a much wider audience, and I was pleased to have this chance to raise awareness that experts in tax and other areas of business do exist outside the City and the big global firms,” he said.
