New Partner for MacIntyre Hudson

Mike Kay, director of MacIntyre Hudson Corporate Finance Limited, has been made a partner in the firm from 1 July 2003.

The partnership recognises his expertise and the rapidly-expanding nature of this part of the MacIntyre Hudson Group’s business. Mike works along side Cameron Cook and Laurence Whitehead with special responsibilities for the corporate finance team in London and the south east, including Chelmsford office.

Mike, who lives in Reading, joined the firm in August 1990 after obtaining a BSc in mathematical statistics and operational research. He qualified in 1993 and was based for several years in the High Wycombe office.

Developing specialist skills in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, disposals and management buy-outs have helped Mike take on the role of reporting accountant on several AIM listings - predominantly with owner-managed businesses and management teams.

Says Mike: "We have plans to expand the corporate finance business by building on the firm's excellent reputation for personal, client-focused service." We wish him every success.

Away from work, Mike enjoys golf, horse racing (watching, not riding!) and developing his interest in wine.
