As a regular worshipper there, with his family, Chris is heavily involved in the
on-going efforts to raise money for various trusts that have been set up to meet the cost not only of restoration, but to develop education and music programmes that play an important part in cathedral life.

“St Albans is a comparatively new cathedral, and therefore has no endowments, so fundraising is even more important,” said Chris, one of 400 ‘sponsors’ invited to the royal reception.
