Supporting Further Education

MacIntyre Hudson continues to develop its links with the further education sector by sponsoring a conference organised by one of its clients, the Association of Colleges (AoC).

The AoC is the umbrella organisation for colleges across all sectors around the UK, and it was the second time this year MacIntyre Hudson had supported an AoC event. Attended by around 150 principals and deputies, the Principals' Professional Council conference is a high-profile annual event incorporating workshops, lectures and a chance to network and share best practice.

For MacIntyre Hudson, it was a further opportunity to reinforce its position in this field. The firm currently has 42 colleges on its books, serviced out of City and Northampton offices.

The sponsorship was part of an ongoing marketing plan which includes a quarterly information bulletin sent to all colleges in the firm's target area, in or around London and regional offices. Managing partner of the FE unit, and City office chairman, Rakesh Shaunak said it was vital to maintain a presence at events of this kind. "The clerks and principals of the association are an influential body of people and we were pleased to support this networking event," he added.
