MacIntyre Hudson Client Completes Management Buy-In
THE corporate finance division of MacIntyre Hudson has played a key role in the acquisition of Greenwald & Gregory, a management buy-in (MBI) deal by MultiFront Limited.
The three-man management team at MultiFront intends to develop and enhance the services of this electrical contracting business by utilising its own heating, plumbing and telecoms expertise.
Greenwald & Gregory, based in Northwood, Middlesex currently provides electrical installation and maintenance services to local authorities, hospitals and schools and has a turnover in excess of £1.6 million. MacIntyre Hudson put together a price and funding structure for the acquisition, helped prepare a business plan and introduced the various professionals needed to complete the deal. Laurence Whitehead, corporate finance partner, said: "We worked closely with the MBI team to identify a suitable acquisition target, and to successfully bring the deal to completion. We believe the platform and funding are now in place to grow the business."
Alan Baskeyfield, incoming managing director, said: "These are exciting times for the company and its customers, with whom we look forward to working closely in the future. We intend to focus on existing customers' needs while finding ways to enhance the services available.
"MacIntyre Hudson did an excellent job in negotiating the right price, beneficial to all parties, and helping raise the finance needed,"
