Tackle Rory at Golf?

Sporting legend Rory Underwood will be joining a host of golf enthusiasts in April, at a charity event co-organised by MacIntyre Hudson.

The fund-raising tournament, which is being held at Elton Furze Golf Club, in Haddon, near Oundle, will see the former England rugby union star joining keen golfers for a day of driving, chipping and putting.

MacIntyre Hudson has teamed up with Lite FM DJ Ken Lawrence to organise the charity day for April 25 – and money raised will be split jointly between Cancer Research UK and Lite FM’s Help a Peterborough Child Appeal.

Rory Underwood, who plays with a handicap of 13, said “I am looking forward to the day, as I am a keen golfer, but I haven’t played a round for a while. Hopefully we can raise a lot of money for the two charities”.

A raffle and auction of golf memorabilia will be held after the 18-hole tournament, with a range of prizes up for grabs.
Entry to the annual charity even is £160 for a team of four golfers and includes dinner, or to bid for a chance to play in Rory’s team, call us on 01733 568491.
