Corporate Finance Deal Announcement: Telecoms service provider

5th Oct 2015

We are very pleased to announce the completion of a private equity growth capital deal for our client Pure Business Services, based in Blisworth, Northants.

Birmingham City Council has become the first local authority in England to take a commercial equity stake in a company by investing almost £1m in the UK business services provider. Pure has agreed to open its fifth business centre in Birmingham as part of the deal. The business will now become known as Pure Business Services.

Since being established in 2006 by Marcus Richardson and Gavin Tedstone, the Pure business has grown to offer telephony services to more than 3,200 businesses in the UK and continues to grow at an exceptional pace owing to its excellent customer service and the expertise of its senior management team.

About Pure

Since its launch in 2006, Pure’s strategy has been to build a UK coverage model delivering value and service to SME customers across a range of products including mobile, fixed line, broadband, unified communications and hosted/cloud-based IT services.
