Jim Gee speaking at conference in China

Jim Gee, Director of Counter Fraud services at MacIntyre Hudson and Chair of the Centre for Counter Fraud Studies at University of Portsmouth, will be the guest speaker at two conferences in China in July. He will also be advising on how to prevent fraud in social security and healthcare.

Following the publication of the Financial Cost of Healthcare Fraud report in January, Jim was approached to speak at the events organised by the EU China Social Security Reform Co-operation Project on behalf of the Chinese Government.

The Social Security Reform Co-operation Project launched in April 2006 and is a 5 year inter-governmental co-operation project between the EU and China in the field of social security reforms. Jim will be presenting on tackling fraud in the public sector, drawing on his experience as founding Chief Executive of the NHS Counter Fraud Service, adviser to the UK Attorney-General on the UK Government's Fraud Review and the first Director-General of the European Healthcare Fraud and Corruption Network.
