Lindner Group acquires Prater Limited
We are very pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition by Lindner Group of Prater Limited. Lindner is Europe's top specialist interior fit-out and facades contractor with plants and subsidiaries in 20 countries, employing more than 5,000 people worldwide. Prater, with annual turnover of £65m, is a top-ranked UK specialist contractor involved in rainscreen and rendered facade systems, composite cladding, glazed curtain walling, single-ply membranes, structural waterproofing and aluminium and traditional metal standing seam roofing systems.
Laurence Whitehead and Craig Chamberlain in our corporate finance team provided specialist advice to Lindner on certain complex aspects of the transaction. Lindner required assistance in assessing certain elements of the transaction which would ultimately have an impact on the overall deal consideration and structure. The acquisition of Prater is the next major expansion of Lindner's portfolio. Adding Prater's expertise allows Lindner to offer clients an unrivalled and unique procurement route in the construction industry by affording them the opportunity to procure both the external envelope and the internal fit-out of their building from a single source, significantly simplifying procurement and ongoing coordination.
