MHA MacIntyre Hudson welcomes Senior VAT Manager

MHA MacIntyre Hudson in Leicester has appointed senior VAT manager Colin Hall to its growing team.

Colin, who will divide his time between the firm’s Meridian Park office and its offices in Northampton and Milton Keynes, has spent the previous eight years working for a top five accountancy practice in the Midlands.

He began working in VAT with HM Customs & Excise in 1990 before leaving to continue his VAT career in the private sector in 2000.

MHA MacIntyre Hudson VAT partner Alison Horner added: “The Leicester office is key to the success of the Northern region within the firm. The VAT team has seen significant growth in recent years and Colin’s expertise in the education and agricultural sectors is a very welcome addition.”

Colin said he welcomed the challenge of joining a progressive, expanding accountancy practice like MHA Macintyre Hudson and bringing his experience to its VAT team.

Married with two children, he is a parent governor at his children’s school in Coventry and also serves on the committee of a local community charity near his home.

He is also a keen swimmer although no longer swims competitively.
