Charities

With a dedicated team specialising in the sector, our charity accountants and business advisers have the experience, expertise and resources to fully understand your complex and regulated accounting needs.

Charities are bound by more regulatory and compliance requirements than most organisations, so appointing an accountant who has the necessary expertise and can operate at affordable rates is crucial.

Raising standards

To raise standards of accounting in the charity sector, the ICAEW introduced a new Diploma in Charity Accounting in 2008. Of our specialist Charity accounting team, Bianca Silva, Robert Nelson, Jonathan Cope and Heather Rayner all successfully attained the qualification in 2008, followed by Sarah Whytock in 2009. Other members of the Charities team are currently working towards the qualification and are committed to attaining it over the next year.

Our charity accountants and business advisers always take a personal interest in our client’s success and are proud to support the many dedicated individuals, organisations and professionals to achieve and exceed their goals. We understand that whatever the cause your charity supports, every penny really does count.
