Our specialist academy accountants have been appointed as auditors and advisers to around 200 new Academy schools and have experience of all types including sponsored and converted academies and multi-academy trusts.

We have a comprehensive understanding of accountancy and auditing issues, having been at the forefront of legislative changes affecting the sector, for example through assisting in the compilation of an early version of the Academies Accounts Direction and through serving on the national SORP Committee.  MHA MacIntyre Hudson is also part of a working party who regularly meet with the EFA.  This commitment and sector exposure ensures we are able to draw upon our collective in-depth knowledge and experience to guide clients effectively.
