Our speakers:

Bianca Silva, Partner

Bianca heads the firm’s Schools & Academies sector, leading a team of Partners due to her specialist knowledge and expertise.  Her diverse portfolio includes many charities, schools, academies, religious organisations and voluntary groups as well as commercial and owner managed businesses.

Bianca supported many schools in the 1990’s which became Grant Maintained and has extensive knowledge and experience of the Education sector.  When the Academies Act 2010 was introduced by Parliament, she produced our comprehensive guide for schools considering academy status which she has presented to schools up and down the country.  Since then, there have been a significant number of revisions and changes to reporting requirements, which Bianca has kept abreast of, and challenged with the DfE / EFA when appropriate; ensuring we fulfil the role of “trusted advisor” for our clients.
