Duncan Cochrane-Dyet

Partner

Duncan is a specialist Audit and Assurance partner. He joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 2014 as part of the firm’s regional and sector growth strategy. He was previously an Audit Director at EY, spending more than 15 years at both EY and PwC in London, where he worked with clients ranging from international listed groups to national and local owner-managed enterprises. Before training as an accountant, he was an officer in the British Army.

Duncan works closely with his clients in understanding their objectives and operations. He brings together specialist teams to focus the experience and expertise of the wider firm to help businesses and their owners achieve their aims throughout the corporate lifecycle; from inception, through growth, to exit by succession, IPO or sale.

His personal commitment in a voluntary capacity extends over 20 years in a variety of roles. Currently he is a special advisor to the UK Vasculitis Trust, and a director and chair of the Audit Committee of the Valley Invicta Academies Trust.

Neil Stern

Neil joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 2006 and through hard work and determination quickly progressed to become a Partner in our North London office in April 2013.

Drawing on his experience working within a large, diverse portfolio, Neil advises his clients on all aspects of compliance, with a strong element of proactive and strategic business advice.

He is responsible for reviewing and running the SAR audits for law firm clients and has gained in depth knowledge of how professional practices operate.

Neil is the Head of the firm’s Business Strategy Group and is a member of Mindshop. His focus is in helping businesses develop and guiding them to reach their full potential.

Neil’s creative side is demonstrated through his hobbies as he is a keen drummer, hand makes guitars and is a fitness enthusiast who is a qualified fitness consultant and sports therapist.

Toby joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in August 2017. For over 25 years, Toby has specialised in working with and advising growing entrepreneurial, family and PE backed companies, International groups, and  UK subsidiaries of International parents. He has worked with clients in a diverse range of industries but has specific sector expertise in hotels, leisure and gaming, manufacturing, wholesale & distribution, and the service industry sectors.

Toby is a responsible individual for audit purposes, and has built up a reputation for providing clients with pragmatic advise not only on financial reporting matters but also on strategic business planning matters including raising finance, growth through acquisition, exit planning and business restructuring.

Away from work Toby is a mad keen Worcester Warriors rugby fan and can be found in the South Stand at Sixways at all home games, or blatting around the Worcestershire countryside in “Delilah” his Caterham Super 7 sports car.

Batanayi Katongera

Partner, Head of Transfer Pricing

Batanayi is a Partner based in the London office.

Batanayi leads the transfer pricing service line at MHA and has over 18 years of transfer pricing experience in the UK across a broad spectrum of industry sectors including financial services, private equity, funds, manufacturing, media and technology, as well as life sciences and telecommunications.

Batanayi helps clients prepare and defend transfer pricing policies and he has a particular focus on resolving transfer pricing disputes involving complex transfer pricing enquiries.  This extends to handling MAP proceedings and agreeing APAs, and ATCAs.
