Tallat joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 2016 having previously been a part of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) team at Grant Thornton. He has been advising businesses on exits, fundraisings, acquisitions and buy-outs for over 10 years at firms including EY and RSM.
In addition to his corporate finance advisory experience, Tallat was also a key part of the team at an energy technology venture capital fund that invested in energy businesses globally. He was responsible for deal origination and execution, as well providing hands-on expertise for business growth and expansion at Board level. During this time, he was seconded to Lloyds Development Capital (LDC) to work on buy-outs in the mid-market space.

John has over 24 years of experience advising clients on VAT and other indirect tax matters and brings a wealth of experience to the team having worked in the UK, Ireland and Canada.
John works with businesses of all sizes from owner managed to listed multi-nationals in a broad range of industry sectors. He has a particular focus on supply chain and international indirect tax matters, real estate and construction, financial services, and tax risk management.

Nigel has specialised in taxation for more than 45 years, particularly in the field of tax planning. He is well respected in the industry and has lectured widely on taxation and allied matters. He has advised clients in a range of sectors and his expansive tax knowledge enables him to provide insightful advice. He is an expert on share valuations, forensic matters and in particular, the taxation of intellectual property and has acted as an expert witness on a number of well known cases. He has published many books on tax issues and was voted LexisNexis tax writer of the year in 2003 and has recently received their much acclaimed lifetime achievement award. Helen joined the Financial Services industry in 1998, and has worked in a variety of compliance and sales roles for large life and pension providers. Since 2014 she has been advising a mixture of individual and business clients as an Independent Financial Adviser based in Reading. Helen joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson Wealth Management in September 2017, and is able to advise clients in all areas of financial planning, including defined benefit pension transfers.
Helen graduated from the University of Reading with a BSc Hons degree in Geography, holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and is working towards Chartered status. She is a member of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) in the takes an active interest in local events and ladies networking groups. Historically Helen has worked predominantly with Company Directors and owner-managed businesses.
