Matthew joined the MHA MacIntyre Hudson corporate finance team in 2015, having previously spent five years running his own business, which he subsequently sold. This experience as a business owner provided him with useful insight into the day to day demands of running a business, which helps him empathise with and better advise his corporate finance clients.
Prior to running his own business, Matthew worked in the corporate finance transaction services team at Grant Thornton in Manchester. He has also spent numerous years working in corporate recovery teams, leading to his well-rounded experience of both businesses experiencing rapid growth and those which have become distressed due to changing market conditions.
At MHA MacIntyre Hudson Matthew is focused on advising SME owner-managers across a broad range of sectors on acquisitions, disposals, MBO's, capital raisings and capital restructurings, valuations and strategic planning.
Matthew qualified as a chartered accountant with Grant Thornton in Manchester in 2008 and has a BSc in Economics from the University of York. He is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, any sport that involves being outdoors and reading, when not chasing after his kids.
Nigel specialises in providing sound financial advice in the commercial/corporate arena providing much needed protection for the Directors/Shareholders and employee benefit needs of SME businesses. His broad skills-set has been developed through his continued involvement in the commercial, personal wealth market for over 20 years.
In his spare time he loves the arts, plays the piano and has just taken up photography.

Belinda joined MHA Macintyre Hudson in 1988 as a trainee and has progressed through to her current role as Audit and Accounts Senior Manager since 1998.
Over the years Belinda has built up considerable experience working with owner managed businesses across many industry sectors, UK subsidiaries of overseas parent companies and also within the education sector.

Lorraine joined the firm as an Accounts Manager following more than 10 years at a Kent based, top 15 firm of accountants.
She manages a portfolio of small to medium sized companies in a range of different sectors and has extensive experience on corporate reporting, audit and assurance, accounting and company secretarial matters.
Lorraine prides herself on maintaining long standing relationships, having worked with a number of clients for over ten years and actively seeks opportunities for improving the management reporting function and optimising internal control procedures.
