Paul is our Technical Partner having recently joined the firm from Baker Tilly International where he was Global Director of Professional Standards. In his role at Baker Tilly International he was responsible for the development and roll-out of our Global Focus methodology across the network, in addition to providing wider technical support and delivering the global audit quality program.
Paul has over 25 years’ experience of audit and assurance with a number of big 4 and mid-tier accounting firms, including 10 years’ in technical roles, the last six of which have been spent in the head office of major Global accounting networks. His focus is on developments in auditing standards, enhancing our audit methodology, ensuring audit quality and ethical standards compliance.
Paul is a member of a number of international bodies including the Transnational Auditors Committee of the Forum of Firms, the IFAC International Forum for Accountancy Education, EGIAN Large Corporate Working Group and the Accountancy Europe Audit Committees Taskforce. He also represents our firm on a number of UK bodies including the ICAEW Technical and Practical Auditing Committee, the ICAEW ISA Panel, the Mid-Tier Technical Network and the Mid-Tier Technology Forum.
Paul is a qualified geologist, has a PhD in Palaeontology and is a Fellow of the Geological Society. He is also a Charity Trustee and Treasurer and has acted as a co-opted Audit Committee Chair, Hospital Governor and School Governor in recent yearsGet in touch with Paul Winrow
Andreas joined MacIntyre Hudson in August 2012 as a trainee after graduating from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Finance, Accounting and Management.
Andreas currently works on a varied and diverse portfolio of clients, specialising in audit and accounts. His clients range from large groups to SMEs and has been heavily involved in the Construction sector since his appointment.
Andreas has built a good rapport with his clients and prides himself on maintaining long standing relationships and adding value at every opportunity.
Steve heads up our National Motor Sector Practice and motor Advisory Business out of our Milton Keynes office. He was previously a partner at PwC and EY and he also led a boutique motor specialist advisory firm where he worked with a number of motor dealers. Steve has grown our Motor Sector practice by bringing in sector experts and through engaging with manufacturers and owners of retail groups in a broad business dialogue, thereby finding ways to support them with their strategic, operational risk and tax compliance agendas, Steve’s audit portfolio includes Top 100 group's and many other dealer groups. He also leads a number of motor networks and forums, including The MHA Motor FD Forum and Berkhamsted Motor Club meaning his clients and executives in the sector regard him as a trusted advisor.Get in touch with Steve Freeman
Andros joined MacIntyre Hudson in November 1995 as a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has worked as a portfolio manager since September 2000.
As a senior member of the team, Andros has developed the expertise and experience that comes from working on a diverse and varied portfolio, which ranges from large international groups to SMEs. His experience crosses many sectors, with special interest in the property and construction sector. Andros graduated with a BA (Hons) in Economics and became a fellow (FCA) in 2005.
In his spare time, Andros has an interest in politics, finance and enjoys travelling and reading.
