Kate Arnott

Head of Professional Services, Partner

Kate has a wide ranging portfolio of clients and enjoys advising on a variety of matters affecting businesses, from audit and accounting issues to budgeting and strategic planning.

Many of her clients have directly benefited from the emphasis she puts on planning for growth and profitability. 

Dispelling the myth that auditing is primarily a matter of number crunching, Kate ensures she understands her clients business as a whole and makes sure the information gathered from the auditing process adds value to its future direction, and will always take the time to ensure all parties understand what the figures are telling them.

As well as working with commercial clients, Kate is Head of the firms Professional Practices sector, leading a team of Partners due to her specialist understanding of the specific challenges and opportunities faced by Professional Practices as well as her experience advising solicitors and law firms on SAR requirements and LLP structures.

Kate is also a leading member of our Manufacturing & Engineering sector, acting for both owner managed SMEs and global businesses with international interests in the sector, due to her experience and understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities they face.

Katherine Everitt

Restructuring & Recovery Manager

Katherine joined the firm in April 2011 and, followng three years our City office, transferred to the Restructuring and Recovery department of our Maidstone Office. She obtained the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency qualification in 2010. 

With over 10 years experience Katherine has built up a wealth of knowledge in dealing with various insolvency matters which include: 

  • Administration
  • Solvent Liquidations
  • Insolvent Liquidations
  • Voluntary Arrangements
  • Bankruptcy
  • LPA Receiverships.

Katherine manages a small team and runs a varied case portfolio with a wide range of clients which includes, high profile individuals, various aspects of the construction industry and charities. With her broad experience she is able to advise companies, directors and creditors of their options. 

She is also currently an Anti Money Laundering representative for the firm and on the committee for the Kent Young Professionals.

Rajeev Shaunak

Head of Travel &Tourism, Partner

Rajeev has over 15 years experience working with a varied portfolio of clients especially in the healthcare and travel sectors. In addition to audit, accounting and tax issues, Rajeev has considerable experience in giving general business advice including advising on AIM flotations, systems reviews, preparing specialist reports and advising on regulatory compliance.

He is a member of the firm’s Business Strategy Group and enjoys advising on a variety of matters affecting businesses, from audit and accounting issues to budgeting and strategic planning and puts an emphasis on planning for growth and profitability.

Colin Brogan

Senior Tax Manager

Colin works on a wide range of clients within the firm from self employed individuals to members of large corporate groups.  He has been with the firm since 1997 when he graduated from University and has since progressed to his current Senior Tax Manager position. 

As a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Colin covers a wide spectrum of tax issues, both corporate and personal.  Concentrating on owner-managed businesses, his expertise covers corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, company reconstructions, research & development claims, remuneration planning as well as advising individual clients on tax planning strategies.
