‘We love what we do, but there is more to life than work.’
At MHA MacIntyre Hudson, we are passionate about the work that we do and the service we deliver to our clients, but we also recognise there is more to life than just work!
In order to attract and retain a diverse workforce, we understand our staff need the flexibility to balance their working lives with their personal lives. This is why we launched and embedded an agile working culture back in 2019. In truth, we’d been working in an agile way for a good while, but saw the need to formalise things to ensure all our staff had access to this great benefit.
Perhaps you have children and need to work flexibly? Perhaps you have a pastime and would like to be able to work for a growing firm AND pursue your passions? Whatever your motivations, we are always happy to talk about flexible working.
We have an output driven environment and we trust our staff to deliver the best. We encourage our staff to talk to their Managers and Partners about what works best for them and how we can support them to deliver their best, while still maintaining balance.
Kayleigh Lewis, Senior Audit Manager
Kayleigh joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson from a larger firm. Kayleigh shares how we helped her to get some time back with her children, while still enjoying progression and development:
We have qualified Mental Health First Aiders across the firm. Never has it been more important for employees to be supported, be heard, and to be encouraged to bring their whole selves to work. With an Employee Assistance Programme for all employees to access, a wellbeing committee focused on initiatives to support employees and a full year-round Wellbeing Calendar, we take mental health and wellbeing very seriously.
We believe everyone wants to deliver the best, and we recognise our responsibility to ensure staff have the tools and resources to support them in this, even in challenging times.
