Mike is a well known name amongst the professional community in Essex and beyond. Over 20 years’ experience has ranged from secondment to clients, dealing with day to day challenges, through to heading up our Corporate Finance team in London and the South East. He has been awarded the "CF" designation by the ICAEW recognising his M&A experience since 1995.
Mike’s reputation and client base extends beyond East Anglia to the South Coast and up to the Midlands. He is regularly recommended by other professionals and clients for his simple and straightforward advice led approach - which he believes greatly increases the ability to understand, deliver and succeed - and his extensive knowledge of many industry sectors including leisure and hospitality, manufacturing and logistics. He is frequently instructed by banks to act on their behalf when considering lending propositions.
Working with businesses of all sizes, Mike has a particular focus on entrepreneurial clients, with many planning for future acquisitions, exits, buy outs and finance raising, drawing on his extensive knowledge in this area. Mike is often asked to provide business valuations in connection with matrimonial disputes and corporate restructurings.

Steve has been with MHA Macintyre Hudson since 2011 where he joined as a school leaver. In this time he has completed both his AAT and ACA qualifications with the firm and swiftly progressed to the level of Assistant Manager. Steve has been working locally in the Essex market, expanding his experience into a variety of sectors and business sizes.
Steve has significant experience with a number of clients in the Not-for-Profit sector, including Independent Schools and Academies, working closely with them to provide audit, assurance and statutory accounts preparation services. He is committed to developing strong working relationships with clients and colleagues alike, and prides himself on the long-standing working relationships he has developed, especially with the local Academies which he has been involved with for multiple years.
Steve has also gained extensive experience and knowledge with Small to Medium owner managed businesses. With these he has covered a variety of services, most notably in the audit and compliance field. Sudhir is National Head of Not for Profit and an audit partner based in MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s London City Office. He is a highly experienced not for profit specialist who has worked in the sector for over 25 years. Prior to joining MHA MacIntyre Hudson he was either the national sector head or a specialist partner in three other top 20 accountancy practices.
He is a recognised expert in not for profit accounting, finance, governance, law and regulation, has served on several working parties, and is regularly asked to speak or write on these topics, He has good links to sector bodies, regulators and other sector professionals.
His experience includes charities, independent schools, academies, free schools, further and higher education establishments, executive non departmental public bodies and other not for profit entities. He has particularly focused on advising complex and high profile organisations, working with larger not for profits, having acted for over 25 top 250 registered charities, and using his extensive knowledge to provide practical solutions.
His personal sector commitment in a voluntary capacity also extends over 25 years. He is currently a member of the finance committee of a cathedral, and has previously been Honorary Treasurer of ACEVO, Vice-Chairman of Governors at an independent school, and held other trustee roles.

James joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 2006 and has obtained both his AAT and ACA qualifications with the firm. He is based in MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s Chelmsford office.
He works closely with many Not for Profit entities, including Charities and Academies, providing them with a range of business services, including Independent Examinations, accounts preparation and compliance returns.
James is a recognised financial reporting specialist in the Sector with a strong understanding of both the Charities SORP and the Academies Accounts Direction. Drawing from this experience he built the internal accounts production toolkits the firm uses to produce Charity and Academy financial statements. He has also advised on updates to external Charity and Academy accounts production toolkits and regularly consults with the ESFA on varying compliance matters, including taking part in user testing of new online systems.
James considers himself to be a problem solver and genuinely enjoys finding answers to complicated accounting issues. He prides himself on delivering practical, timely and accurate advice to his clients in a language and manner they can understand.
