Established in 1880 at the start of the accountancy profession, our leading firm of chartered accountants, tax and businesses advisors has had an office in High Wycombe since 1900, where our first clients included hide and skin brokers and ladies hat manufacturers!
Today our office in High Wycombe has 6 Partners and over 40 professional staff, based in the heart of the town at Abbey Place, Easton Street; a 9,000 sq ft office with excellent facilities for staff and clients, including our own conference suite.

Continuing our specialism in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, we also have a strong background acting for charities, schools and academies as well as clients in the construction, technology and healthcare sectors. We also act for a significant number of Professional Practices.
We actively support the local business community through membership of various business groups and through our own complimentary seminars and workshops focusing on topical issues such as tax planning around the budget.

Bianca heads the firm’s Schools & Academies sector, leading a team of Partners due to her specialist knowledge and expertise developed over 30 years; initially supporting a number of schools in the 1990’s which became Grant Maintained, then moving on to support independent schools as well as schools converting to Academy status and today advising established and growing Multi Academy Trusts, often with complex structures and individual needs. Her diverse portfolio includes many charities, schools, academies, religious organisations and voluntary groups as well as commercial and owner managed businesses.
Bianca holds the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting, which acknowledges expertise and experience in charity accounting and finance at the highest level and is regularly referred to by Partners of the firm to provide guidance on the complex and regulated accounting requirements faced by the Not for Profit sector.

Kate has a wide ranging portfolio of clients and enjoys advising on a variety of matters affecting businesses, from audit and accounting issues to budgeting and strategic planning.
Many of her clients have directly benefited from the emphasis she puts on planning for growth and profitability.
Dispelling the myth that auditing is primarily a matter of number crunching, Kate ensures she understands her clients business as a whole and makes sure the information gathered from the auditing process adds value to its future direction, and will always take the time to ensure all parties understand what the figures are telling them.
As well as working with commercial clients, Kate is Head of the firms Professional Practices sector, leading a team of Partners due to her specialist understanding of the specific challenges and opportunities faced by Professional Practices as well as her experience advising solicitors and law firms on SAR requirements and LLP structures.

Robert is a qualified accountant and specialises in accounts preparation, audit and general consultancy as well as areas of taxation. Robert has a legal background and due to his extensive technical knowledge and deep understanding of the sector, takes charge of Solicitor Accounts Rules audits and is responsible for training within the firm. Ian has over 25 years commercial finance and banking experience having worked in senior position within the Banking and ABL Sectors.
Ian work’s closely with a wide range of companies looking for access to finance, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and Corporate Clients across multiple sectors.
