Exit M4 at Junction 11, follow signs to Reading Town Centre and Caversham. Continue through several roundabouts and traffic lights and you will pass under a Railway Bridge next to a Fire Station. When you reach a large roundabout with TGI’s on the right, take the 2nd exit (right). Go straight across the next roundabout and Napier Court is approximately 100 yards on the right hand side, immediately after the BMW Garage. Parking is available at the office.

Gavin joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in June 2018 and is the Partner who leads our Technology Advisory Services practice. He joined the firm from BDO LLP where he led the technology consultancy practice for more than five years. Gavin has more than 35 years of experience in the IT industry and, besides running his own IT consultancy business for ten years, has worked for some of the worlds largest IT companies including; Fujitsu, Dell, Capita, Ricoh and Atos.
As well as a formal training in Electronic Engineering, Gavin holds several industry qualifications including; MCSE, PRINCE2, ITIL and CISM. In previous roles Gavin has developed global IT consulting methodologies, delivered (and recovered) several large high-profile IT projects as well as managing large teams of consultants, engineers and project managers.
Technology Advisory Services provides a range of services to support business in the mid-market. In these businesses it is not uncommon to find the Finance Director (or other senior board member) responsible for IT. Gavin calls them “The Quasi IT Director” ® and typically they become reliant on junior IT staff or third-party IT support companies for strategic advice, which may not always be in the best interest of the company.

Ian joined MHA Macintyre Hudson in September 2017 and works for MHA Financial Solutions, which is our in-house Commercial Finance Intermediary Service.
Ian has over 25 years commercial finance and banking experience having worked in senior position within the Banking and ABL Sectors.
Ian work’s closely with a wide range of companies looking for access to finance, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and Corporate Clients across multiple sectors.

Helen joined the Financial Services industry in 1998, and has worked in a variety of compliance and sales roles for large life and pension providers. Since 2014 she has been advising a mixture of individual and business clients as an Independent Financial Adviser based in Reading. Helen joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson Wealth Management in September 2017, and is able to advise clients in all areas of financial planning, including defined benefit pension transfers.
Helen graduated from the University of Reading with a BSc Hons degree in Geography, holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and is working towards Chartered status. She is a member of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) in the takes an active interest in local events and ladies networking groups. Historically Helen has worked predominantly with Company Directors and owner-managed businesses.

Angus has over 15 years of tax experience and joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in January 2013 following the merger with HMT Assurance LLP.
He joined HMT in 2007 having previously spent 7 years with KPMG in both tax and audit.
Angus has significant experience managing the tax reporting and compliance cycles of owner managed businesses, private equity backed businesses, inbound and public listed companies.
In addition, Angus advises on all corporate tax matters including transfer pricing, R&D and group restructuring.
Angus is also a school Governor and enjoys sculling at his local rowing club.
