2018-10-31 2018-10-31 Europe/London Southern Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year Award

In support and celebration of southern manufacturing and engineering companies in the south of England, MHA MacIntyre Hudson, along with The Business Magazine, Lloyds Bank, JLT and Taylor Made are sponsoring the 2018 Apprentice of the Year Award.

We would like to invite representatives from Manufacturing & Engineering firms to nominate their star apprentice and join us as our guest at the exclusive tour and lunch.

About the Award

The award seeks to acknowledge and pay tribute to the exceptional contribution of an apprentice in their workplace and is open to all engineering and manufacturing companies in the Thames Valley and Solent & South Central region. Our panel of expert judges and sponsors will nominate four finalists in September 2018, seeking exemplar apprentices who effectively showcase the difference the applicant has made to the organisation they work in.

Finalists and representatives from leading manufacturing firms in the region will be invited to attend a guided tour of the world leading Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) at Ansty Park in Coventry on October 31, 2018, where the winner will be announced. Nominations are now open.

Nominations can be submitted by either apprentices or their employers. To be eligible for this award, applicants must be either currently undertaking an apprenticeship or have completed it within the past 12 months (since March 2017). The closing date for nominations is 10th August 2018.
