Will it be different for the charity sector, post-COVID-19?

In this webinar, two leading charity experts compare and contrast the challenges and opportunities of resourcing, governing and creating impact in a post-lockdown world.

Charities exist for creating public benefit – to deliver impact for beneficiaries - and have developed funding, operating and governance models over many years to make that happen.  COVID-19 and the steps that the UK and other governments have put in place to manage the spread of the virus and moderate its damage to society and communities, have called into question much of what we’d taken in the past to be immutable.  Does that stretch to the charitable models with which we’ve become so familiar? Will Civil Society be changed forever?

Why attend?

The future will undoubtedly be different for us all. Charities will not be, indeed should not be, the same after the experience of the Covid-19 pandemic, and many charities will face challenges. In this webinar, our experts will provide guidance and practical tips to help charity management and trustees meet some of those challenges.

This hour-long FREE webinar hosted by Berwick Partners will include time for questions and is expected to give much food for thought at a time when charity leaders need just that.

Key topics covered:

  • how charities need to consider their future sustainability, review future strategies, embrace new forms of financial management, and develop governance and operating models.
  • how charities must look again at what they need to deliver to meet beneficiaries’ needs, and how they resource that in the ‘new normal.’

Agenda:

Webinar, followed by an interactive Q&A session

Expert speakers:

  • Sudhir Singh – Partner and Head of Not for Profit at MHA MacIntyre Hudson
  • Jim Clifford OBE – Chief Executive at Sonnet Advisory & Impact
