Do I need to instruct a lawyer when going through certain HR processes?

In most scenarios you will be able to get the same level of advice, and perhaps more commercially savvy, from an HR Consultant at a much lower price.

Our HR Consultants are very experienced in dealing with all HR processes from TUPE transfers, redundancies, settlement agreements, etc.

Lawyers will be sometimes required to complete a process but needn’t necessarily be involved beforehand to be able to do so. For example, for a settlement agreement to be valid a solicitor will have to look at it and advise the employee on the appropriateness of the deal.
