Corporate Finance Deal Announcement: Cox & Robinson
We are delighted to announce the completion of the sale of Buckingham-based farm animal products supplier Cox & Robinson (Agricultural) to Mole Valley Farmers, a farm supply co-operative headquartered in South Molton. Ed Lane, former managing director of Cox & Robinson, has joined Mole Valley Farmers as Deputy Head of Retail Procurement.
Our corporate finance team, led by Laurence Whitehead and Craig Chamberlain, advised the vendors on the sale. Specialist accounting and tax advice was also provided by colleagues Steve Moore and Gareth Peters and legal advice was provided by EMW. Our team’s track record and experience were paramount as we provided the integrated corporate finance, accounting and tax advice needed by the vendors to enable them to take the deal forward successfully to completion. We congratulate all parties on a successfully completed deal.
Our corporate finance team continues to be active and the sale of Cox & Robinson represents our 16th completed deal in the last twelve months, seven of which have been sale mandates. Other deals we have successfully completed include a good mix of acquisitions, MBOs, refinancings and fundraisings across a wide variety of sectors.
As a result of our continuing success we have recently recruited two new senior team members: in central London Peter Petyt has joined us as a partner and will be based in our London City office. In the East Midlands we have recruited Mukesh Bulsara as a director, based out of our Leicester office. These new hires demonstrate our continued commitment to grow further our corporate finance services and to remain as a leading M&A advisor in the SME marketplace.
