Corporate Finance Deal Announcement: Longwood Group Holidays Limited
We are very pleased to announce the completion of the sale of Longwood Group Holidays Limited (“Longwood”) to Preston Travel Group Limited (“Preston”).
Preston Travel Group has acquired Red Sea specialist operator Longwood Holidays, the Woodford Green-based independent operator that sells package and tailor-made holidays to the Middle East. This is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Preston Travel Group. It bought Egypt specialist operator Peltours in October 2009 and home-working firms Kwik Travel and Holiday City in the last three years. It also owns airline Flybe, UK and Channel Islands tour operation Preston Holidays and Cyprus and Greece specialist Amathus Holidays.
Our corporate finance team, headed by principal Laurence Whitehead advised the vendors on the sale, successfully leading and negotiating the key elements of the deal. Our team’s track record and experience were paramount as we provided the advice needed by the vendors to enable them to take the deal forward successfully to completion.
We wish Preston every success for the integration of the businesses and the future.
