Mazda Motor UK select MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s Independent Automotive Consulting Team Alliance as their EV Readiness Partner
Mazda Motors UK have selected MHA MacIntyre Hudson's ("MHA") Independent Automotive Consulting alliance with Baringa Partners (“Baringa”) as their “EV Readiness” project roll out support partner
Following the recent unveiling of the production specification for the all new Mazda MX-30 EV, Mazda Motors UK Limited have taken one step further in bringing the reality of their first full battery electric vehicle to life. Mazda’s attractive new all-electric vehicle helps lead the way, with exceptional driving dynamics, a generous sense of interior space, and a range that efficiently adapts to your daily drive requirements. Mazda wanted to work with a truly independent EV specialist consultancy team that could support both their planning and implementation requirements around the launch of the new MX-30 electric vehicle.
Mazda are working with MHA Macintyre Hudson and their EV Alliance partners such as Baringa to deliver their Phase One “EV Readiness” launch plan:
- Reviewing the size of the UK electric vehicle market over the next 5-20 years. Covering key areas such as consumer attitudes, future policy impacts, charging infrastructure and range projections.
- Baringa will also review retail and fleet customer implications, current and future market charging propositions and partnership models.
- This will include areas such as V2G, bundled propositions and independent review and recommendations for key supplier partners.
“I am absolutely delighted that Mazda have chosen our Independent EV Automotive Consulting Alliance to deliver this prestigious project, which recognises the strength within MHA's existing Motor team, coupled with the strategic partnerships that we have built with specialists in Electric Vehicles and energy, such as Baringa.
Mazda are a fantastic organisation to be working with on our second major OEM EV consulting project. Additionally, we are also excited about other key projects we are working on with other OEM’S and retailer networks to assist with their EV product delivery in the UK and Europe.”
Brett Hague, Head of Network Strategy at Mazda Motors UK commented on the deal:
“Mazda UK and our Retail Partners are excited for the electrified future that the recently revealed MX-30 will bring to the brand. The EV Readiness support that MHA are providing Mazda will be invaluable in setting up the Mazda Network to be able to offer all MX-30 customers a Premium Purchase and Ownership Experience. The investment in charging infrastructure that all Mazda Retail Partners will be making in 2020 needs to be fit for the future needs of both the evolving operations of Retailing an increasing numbers of EV’s, and of course support exceptional Customer Experiences. The MHA team of EV specialists including Baringa, are absolutely the right choice to assist Mazda in preparing the Retail Network for the arrival of the Mazda MX-30.”
