MHA MacIntyre Hudson holds Charity Quiz evening
On Thursday 18th October, MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s London office held their first charity fundraising quiz, in aid of Noah's Ark Childrens Hospice.
13 teams, made up of clients, contacts, partners, staff and friends competed to win the title. It was a close run event – Quiz Sutton (a team including several MHA partners) were top of the leader board for the first three rounds!
Mid-way through the evening, Sophie Ridge and Emma Pleass from Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice gave a heartfelt presentation to introduce us to some of the children they work with and give some insight into the type of events and support that the hospice provides for their families. This included an update on their new hospice build which is currently under construction, with the final bricks having been laid just last week.
During the second half of the evening the competition was intense and the leader board was shaken up with ‘Mouldy’s Minions’ being the final victors, closely followed by ‘Surveyors do it with lasers’. The evening concluded with an auction for not one, but two signed Ossie Ardiles football shirts, along with various other prizes and a raffle.
Overall an entertaining evening for hosts and guests alike with a fantastic sum of £6,019 raised!
On behalf of MHA MacIntyre Hudson and Noah’s Ark, we would like to say a huge thank you to all that donated, attended and/or bought raffle tickets. Raising this amount has enabled funding for 1- 2-1 specialist care for 5 seriously unwell babies or children for a whole year, as well as sensory equipment for The Ark.
