Not for Profit eNews - October 2019
Welcome to the October edition of our NfP e-Newsletter
The Brexit debate continues and while 31 October is no longer a key date, charities have to ensure that they are prepared for the changes coming.
An example is VAT and we include news of a recent change in Germany that has a wider effect than perhaps originally intended. The Autumn Budget however, has been postponed and that means that any sign of a decision on funding for work carried out by charities retreats further into the future.
In this issue we also cover:
- International Charity Fraud Awareness
- Reducing fraud in the sector and forensic accounting
- Preventing Charity Cybercrime
- Cases for refusing donations
- New reporting requirements for larger charitable companies
