Stephen joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson when the Kent offices of Haines Watts merged with the firm in 2018 having formerly ran a practice for 30 years.
Stephen specialises in providing business strategy advice to owner managed businesses and has trained with a variety of leading consultants to specialise in Business Development.
His advice comes not just from his background as a Chartered Accountant but from learning and developing other skills relevant to running a successful business.
Stephen has also undertaken a number of speaking roles and lectured on finance both in the UK and overseas for a management school running Institute of Management qualifications.
He volunteers as a National Councillor for the South East Region for the Federation of Small Businesses, a role that places him in a position to help small businesses.

James started with MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 2009 where he completed his training and has worked his way up to Accounts Manager. James is a specialist in the Healthcare sector and assist his clients with a variety of services, including:
James qualified as a chartered accountant in 2014 and is a part of the ICAEW Healthcare Sector Group. He looks after a large number of GP practices and a wide variety of medical consultants mainly in the Kent and London, but works with clients both nationally and internationally too.
James is a Xero certified advisor and a certified QuickBooks Online advisor which he uses as part of his nominated Digital Solutions contact role for the firm.

Marissa has a wealth of experience across the sectors but for many years has had many clients in farming, owners of land and trusts. She enjoys engaging with clients discussing family matters, offering guidance and support and along with her tax colleagues advising on tax structures for now and in the future.

Claire joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in December 2018 following a merger of her previous firm, which was a Kent based practice of a top 15 firm of accountants.
She has over 20 years’ experience within the accounting industry, predominately working with SMEs. Claire has joined the firm as a Business Service Manager assisting clients with the preparation and review of Financial Statements, Corporation Tax, VAT and payroll.
Additionally, Claire has helped setup and implement internal systems to assist in the financial processes and the overall internal functions of the business to improve efficiency, both within her own firm and on behalf of clients.
