The cloud accounting phenomenon appears to be a freight train driving through the accounting profession, revolutionising the way accountants interact with their clients.
The cloud allows immediate access to client records from any location (with an internet connection), which in turn fosters a more dynamic relationship between business and adviser.
New tools dramatically reduce data entry, allowing bookkeepers to focus on training and advice. New ways to produce and provide reports creates cost savings for key value-added services such as management accounts, allowing us as accountants to provide more for less.
Our cloud accounting team has specialist knowledge of a variety of cloud accounting software and can provide a range of services, including system implementation and training. We can also provide advanced outsourcing, including flexible bookkeeping, smart management accounts and an outsourced finance director.
We have invested time in developing our knowledge of the ever-changing world of cloud products so that you don’t have to. Combining this with our corporate expertise in a variety of industry sectors gives us a team of system advisers, all of whom are quickly able to establish the key functionality requirements of your business. Our implementation process guides you and your team from system selection through set-up and training. Utilising change management and an implementation timeline, our teams ease the transition over to new systems.
We can provide advice when - and where - it is needed. From juniors to partners and specialists, we have a skilled and experienced team ready to advise at the appropriate level. As well as being at the end of the phone for any query, we can tailor initial and ongoing training packages to ensure that your team gets the full support they need. These can be part of a system implementation process, or general advice if you’ve chosen software independently.
Once a set function with a general all or nothing approach, outsourcing is changing dramatically with the implementation of cloud accounting. Accountants can now be efficiently utilised for very specific technical tasks and assistance in busy periods, whilst leaving the general day-to-day processing in the hands of business administrative staff.
At MacIntyre Hudson we look to work closely with our client’s finance team to provide comfort over their tax and legislative obligations whilst providing added value via enhanced KPI reporting and timely business advice.
As cloud accounting enables access to financials from anywhere in the world, you can even now outsource the role of the finance director. We provide astute analysis of financial information with key information on the business, allowing you to focus resources in profit-generating directions and cut loss-making operations.
