Deb specialises in audit and assurance services to investment businesses and leads the financial services sector nationally for MHA MacIntyre Hudson.
After 30 years’ with a Big Four firm in London where Deb specialised in asset management, she joined Kinetic Partners, a firm providing professional services to the financial services industry, in 2012 as Head of Audit. When Kinetic was acquired by the US valuation firm Duff & Phelps, Deb led the audit team as a standalone small boutique firm (KP Audit) for two years before acquisition by MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 2016.
Deb has a wealth of experience providing audit and assurance services to the financial services sector, working with hedge, property and private equity fund managers, and with investment advisors and arrangers. Alicia is a partner in the London office, managing a portfolio of clients. Alicia joined the firm as a graduate trainee at the North London office in 2007, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 2010. Alicia’s key focus is working with owner managed businesses across London and south Hertfordshire, from new start-ups to long standing companies.
Alicia’s clients are a range of shapes and sizes from sole traders to £10m turnover groups, spanning a number of industries – including technology, construction and financial services. She ensures that compliance needs are efficiently dealt with to allow time to identify opportunities to support clients as they grow. Recent special projects include providing a detailed support service to a client selling a division of their business, creating forecasts and reporting systems for clients looking to grow their business and assisting clients with transitions to cloud based software. In addition to working with owner managed businesses, Alicia looks after a portfolio of Academy Schools in the area.
As well as her client facing work, Alicia takes a keen interest in internal staff recruitment and development, including supporting school leavers and graduates with advice on applying for roles within accountancy and putting together CVs. As a senior member of MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s Legal Services Group, Harmy has considerable experience in dealing with and advising law firms. He is a committee member of the ICAEW’s Solicitors Special Interest Group and has achieved the Law Society's Lexcel Trained Consultant Status. Harmy is also a member of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Asian Business Association.
