Chris joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in July 2015 following the merger with Birmingham based MHA Bloomer Heaven. Chris was made a partner at MHA Bloomer Heaven in 2006 and works with owner managed businesses, family owned companies and international groups. Chris deals with a diverse portfolio of clients covering a range of sectors and in particular manufacturing companies and barristers. The firm are patrons of Made in the Midlands, an association of manufacturing and engineering companies, and Chris has been instrumental in developing this over recent years. Chris is a responsible individual for audit purposes and works closely with his clients to ensure they get the best advice.
Away from work Chris is a keen musician and was a prize winning pianist, although is now rather out of practice. He enjoys spending time with his family exploring National Trust premises. He is also a member of BNI Apollo where is has previously been chapter director.Get in touch with Chris Barlow
Jay joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in July 2015 following the merger with Birmingham based MHA Bloomer Heaven. For over 25 years, Jay has built up a reputation for specialist tax advice to private companies and individuals. He is an experienced corporate financier and provides clients with strategic corporate finance advice, particularly targeted to entrepreneurs and owner managed businesses. Jay has a particular focus on advising and undertaking tax planning for property developers and investors.
Away from work Jay is a keep fit fanatic and lover of all sports but especially rugby union and cricket. He is also a keen traveller and is embarking on working his way through the major cities of Europe before turning his attention on the Americas.Get in touch with Jay Boyce
Alicia joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson as a graduate trainee, qualifying in 2010. She has been a Partner leading a mixed portfolio of audit and advisory work since 2017.
While Alicia works across a range of sectors including leisure, fashion and design, her core sectors are real estate and technology where she enjoys supporting developing businesses with both compliance and their longer term plans.
The majority of Alicia’s clients are owner managed businesses – from early stage businesses looking for funding to well established groups companies thinking about succession planning. This includes a number of international companies who have expanded their operations to the UK.
In addition to corporate clients, Alicia works with a number of Academy Schools across the North London and Hertfordshire region, assisting with reporting and looking to provide support in managing the complex financial issues currently presented to academies.
Alicia is an Engagement Partner for the London Office and liaises with various teams to maximise retention and recruitment of staff. This includes participating in events outside the firm to support school leavers and graduates looking to explore a career in finance.Get in touch with Alicia Crisp
