Life at the Northampton office

Best known for its historic shoemaking industry and subsequent world-renowned musical Kinky Boots, Northampton possesses a unique charm and cultural legacy. The surrounding countryside is some of the most beautiful in England and there are miles of enchanting walks, scenic country parks and acres of ancient woodland to discover. Based at The Lakes, 2 miles to the south-east of Northampton town centre, the office is easy to get to and is only a short walk from the stunning River Nene - perfect for a relaxing lunchtime stroll. Alternatively, hop on the bus provided by the office once a week and enjoy a coffee or some shopping in the town centre.

As the second largest MHA MacIntyre Hudson office with over 80 staff members, Northampton maintains a vibrant and enterprising atmosphere. We are an open plan office to enable active communication and our teams are friendly and welcoming. We pride ourselves on our positive culture and new team members find it easy to integrate, readily forming strong relationships and lasting friendships. We are a social bunch and frequently organise charity events, pizza lunches, fully-funded socials including our May Ball, and in-office film screenings.

As one of the largest towns in the UK and with many areas undergoing urban renewal, Northampton is the base for many successful industries including distribution, renewable energy and transport and logistics. We work with a diverse range of clients and offer our employees plentiful opportunities to get involved in firm-wide projects and trail-blazing new initiatives for the firm. Having been in Northampton for over 40 years we are committed to Northamptonshire and have strong relationships with many longstanding clients. Our location and accessibility also mean that we appreciate a regular flow of new clients from local businesses, multinationals and high net worth individuals in and around Northamptonshire. Increasingly we are getting involved in cross-office projects, working with our colleagues in London and more globally at Baker Tilly International.

We have grown significantly in the last few years and have ambitions to expand further. We are always keen to hear from motivated individuals who are excited to work with a variety of interesting clients, and to contribute to our continued success.
