Laurence heads up the firm's award-winning corporate finance lead advisory team. Laurence and his team have been recognised at a number of M&A award events over recent years, including the Insider Dealmaker Awards in 2015, 2013, 2011 and 2009, The Game Changer Awards in 2017, The Corporate International Global Awards in 2016, The British Accountancy Corporate Finance Awards in 2015, The M&A Finance Awards in 2015, The Finance Monthly Dealmaker of the Year Awards in 2015 and the AI Corporate Finance Awards in 2015. Laurence has also been awarded the CF designation by the ICAEW Corporate Finance Faculty in recognition of his M&A expertise.
He is well connected in the corporate finance world, having previously been employed for a number of years at one of the "Big 4" firms where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and became a Member of the Chartered Securities Institute. During this time, Laurence also spent several years working on assignments in Russia and the Middle East, as well as working on private equity deals for over a year as a member of that firm’s London-based Private Equity Team.

Gareth tends to work on the firm's larger and more complex clients. Based in the Milton Keynes office he became Tax Partner in 2016 after 12 years with the firm. As both a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Gareth covers a wide spectrum of tax issues, both corporate and personal. Concentrating on owner-managed businesses, his expertise covers corporate tax, mergers & demergers, acquisitions & MBOs, exit & remuneration planning, as well as advising individual clients on more bespoke tax planning strategies.
Gareth is also one of the firm’s R&D tax credit specialists and has advised companies across many sectors including Manufacturing, Engineering, I.T. and Medical Research on how to maximise their claims. Suzanne qualified in 1991, and joined MacIntyre Hudson in 1995. She assists in managing the firm's portfolio of Solicitor clients and is responsible for running SRA Accounts Rules audits for our Milton Keynes and Northampton offices. She is also the firms SRA Accounts Rules specialist and as part of that role will deal with technical queries, train staff and review all of the Accountants Reports submitted by the firm.
Suzanne is married with a teenage son. In their spare time the family enjoy training together in karate lessons, which they started a few years ago. Rob joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 2006 on the school leaver programme, gaining his AAT qualification before becoming a qualified chartered accountant in 2010. His main area of expertise is in statutory audits and accounts although he also have extensive experience in leading due diligence and forensic accounting projects.
Rob has built up a good rapport with his clients and prides himself on maintaining long standing relationships. He has worked with many of his clients for several years.
Rob works closely with Steve Freeman and leads our motor audits acting for several dealers across the country.
