Ian works closely with his owner managed clients in order to understand what makes them and their businesses tick. This helps him to tailor his advice specifically to the individual's own personal and business aspirations. Well known within the local business community and working with a wide variety of companies, Ian endeavours to nurture their entrepreneurial spirit and steer his client’s businesses to their end goal. With a keen eye on his sector specialisms of Transport & Logistics, Healthcare and Property & Construction, Ian is able to provide companies with the in-depth knowledge and advice they require to grow and develop.

Ian has extensive knowledge of the Care Home sector enabling him to advise his clients on the constantly changing regulations and tax incentives available.

Nigel Morris

Employment Tax Director

Nigel was previously an HMRC Inspector and has worked in the Big 4 for 18 years before joining MHA MacIntyre Hudson in January 2017. His experience includes work on a range of employment tax matters for a range of major national and international businesses as well as SME and OMB businesses. This includes work primarily in the Automotive, Hospitality & Leisure, Logistics and Construction sectors.

Nigel has aided clients in managing employment tax risk and mitigating HMRC settlements, as well as spending a considerable amount of time designing, implementing and communicating arrangements to reduce employment tax cost. He has worked on a large number of car consulting projects, including the development and design of bespoke arrangements for clients, including ECOS, Salary sacrifice and Hybrid fleet arrangements. He is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians.

Neil joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 2006 and through hard work and determination quickly progressed to become a Partner in our North London office in April 2013.

Drawing on his experience working within a large, diverse portfolio, Neil advises his clients on all aspects of compliance, with a strong element of proactive and strategic business advice.

He is responsible for reviewing and running the SAR audits for law firm clients and has gained in depth knowledge of how professional practices operate.

Neil is the Head of the firm’s Business Strategy Group and is a member of Mindshop. His focus is in helping businesses develop and guiding them to reach their full potential.

Neil’s creative side is demonstrated through his hobbies as he is a keen drummer, hand makes guitars and is a fitness enthusiast who is a qualified fitness consultant and sports therapist.
